I bought this for someone who likes the 'island' style keyboard found on the post-T420 thinkpads and wanted an external keyboard to go with their external monitor (and of course their T460). The user is very pleased with this keyboard. It is quite similar in feel to the thinkpad keyboards. For me, for that price it should be backlit, but I'll take what I can get. The mouse is just a basic mouse, and was discarded in favour of a real mouse, i.e. a "gaming" high poll rate mouse with adequate glide, good click, thumb switches and better tracking. Still, it's good to have an emergency mouse I suppose.
