Much more quieter than previous models

The product formatted and loaded my data without question. I will agree that the big blinking blue light is annoying but other than that, it's doing just fine holding my photo archives.

I bought this drive 2 years ago when it failed and after a lot of difficulty dealing with Lacie (Seagate) I had to return it at my own cost of ￡18. The replacement has failed after just 3 months. Lacie do not provide data recovery so unless you have backed up you lose everything.
