LACIE Porsche Design P'9230 external hard drive - 4 TB
Drive takes a few seconds to wake itself up from sleep (energy conserving) mode, but once it's awake, it's blindingly fast.
Pros:
- 4TB is enough capacity to backup ALL my other drives & Mac Very fast USB3 was evident when copying data
- Of course your computer must have native
Cons:
- Nothing
- so far

Super Fast
I recently upgraded my LaCie Starck 2TB USB 2.0 drive with this one for my Mac. The speed is at least 10 times as fast as the old USB. I completed my initial backup of ~1.2TB in approximately 5 hours! Also, the drive is super quiet and takes up less volume on my desktop than my old Stark drive.
Pros:
- Attractive Design
- Easy To Set Up
- Easy to use
- High Capacity
- Quiet

Lacie 5TB Porsche design P 9230 USB3.0, Solid aluminum casing, Easy setup (LaCie Setup Assistant) and...

I used this product one time. I transferred all of my photos and video clips which I cannot retrieve because the device will no longer work.

LaCie Porsche P9230 review
The design and software features of the Porsche P'9230 are quite attractive, but at £115 for 1TB of storage it ought to offer Porsche performance as well as just style.
