LG Optimus Sol – the poor man's Optimus 2X has some nice specs – user review
LG has been pretty successful at entering the new Android smartphones market, especially when there was a lot of competition even back then. Their success has mostly been spearheaded by the G2X, a.k.a. Optimus 2X, the first dual core smartphone running Android.

The Korean firm LG worked hard in 2011 to improve its market share in the mobile phone industry, and the LG Optimus Sol E730 was one such attempt. The mobile phone premiered in September and had to go head-to-head with Samsung's Galaxy S II, and that was just unlucky timing.

How many Optimus' does it take to fix an LG? LG has been far from impressive when it comes to smartphones and LG Chocolate (released in 2009) was the last models that created the slightest stir in the market.

Great device with a brilliant display; very lightweight and fun to use. Times have changed and even mid-range smartphones today offer great features for a very reasonable price. The LG Optimus Sol E730 is one such mid range Android smartphone that comes with good quality and attractive features.
