LG Optimus 7 first impressions
If this is the only differentiator among the many Windows Phone 7 devices we'll be seeing in the coming months, the Optimus 7 may get lost in the shuffle.

LG Optimus 7 review Review
The LG Optimus 7 is one of the more affordable Windows Phone 7 handsets, yet it feels reassuringly solid and responsive. It could be some time before it offers the app-tastic pleasures of its competitors, though.

LG Optimus 7 review
Windows Phone 7 has arrived an array of different handsets, so here we're looking at LG's entry: the Optimus 7. Microsoft sets out some design rules for Windows Phone 7 hardware, and there are some ways in which the Optimus 7 is very like all the other Windows Phone 7 handsets out there, such as the...

LG and Microsoft aren't exactly the oldest friends, but friends, they are. LG Optimus 7Q
The Optimus 7Q is the best smartphone we've seen from LG in a long time, but side by side with the HTC and Samsung handsets running WP7, and even beside its sibling, the Optimus 7, the 7Q trades off quite a bit to accommodate its keyboard.
Pros:
- Windows Phone 7 is a plus
- 16GB onboard memory
- 1500mAh battery performs well
- Decent camera
Cons:
- Marginally smaller screen than other WP7 phones
- Keyboard could be better designed
- Hansdet is bulky and heavy

LG Optimus 7Q
The 7Q trades off quite a bit to accommodate its QWERTY keyboard and can't overcome the fact that it has the smallest, poorest screen of the WP7 launch line-up.
Pros:
- Windows Phone 7 is a plus
- 16GB onboard memory
- 1500mAh battery performs well
- Decent camera
Cons:
- Marginally smaller screen than other WP7 phones
- Keyboard could be better designed
- Hansdet is bulky and heavy

Another Windows Phone 7 handset, the LG Optimus 7 isn't a million miles away from the other four launchers due to Microsoft's stringent minimum hardware specs and tight control over the software itself. So what can set the LG Optimus 7 apart? And can it take on HTC's already impressive offerings?

LG Optimus 7 Review
The LG Optimus 7, like other Windows Phone 7 smartphones from other manufacturers, is a slate-style handset with three navigation buttons on its front face. It's a lot like other WP7 phones out there, mostly because Microsoft has mandated that WP7 hardware is largely standardized.
