LG Optimus 7 Review

The LG Optimus 7 is part of a new breed of handsets mainly because it's a Windows Phone 7 device, powered by an operating system which is new, fresh but nevertheless with its flaws.
Pros:
  • + Windows Phone 7 is an exciting new mobile OS

First Look: LG Optimus 7

Windows Phone 7 made its debut a couple of months ago, and it made quite an impression on us. For a mobile OS designed from the ground up in little more than 18 months, it looked slick, was easy to use, and has proven extremely responsive on all the phones we've tested so far.

Brilliantly underpriced phone.

I'd just like to say a few things about this phone, i've previousl been a windows phone user for the last 6 years, from windows 5.0 to 6.1 with a very brief stint of using 6.5. Inititally I was unimpressed with the new interface, although, after getting used to it I very much like it, theres some...

LG Optimus 7 E900 review

LG's Optimus 7 is a Windows Phone 7 (WP7) handset. It differs from the original Android-powered Optimus in both design and specification: it has a larger, clearer screen, a better camera with an LED flash, and a generous 16GB of internal storage, though it lacks a memory card slot.

LG Optimus 7

Windows Phone 7 handsets are like episodes of Friends: they're all basically the same, but each has a slight twist. The LG Optimus 7 then is "The one with the DLNA". The LG Optimus 7 will be available on Vodafone, where your other option will be the HTC 7 Trophy (The one with the low price).
Pros:
  • Panorama photo is fun
  • comfortable for making calls
  • Windows Phone 7 is generally a great refreshing operating system
  • compact
  • Zune
  • 16GB of memory
Cons:
  • DLNA is send only
  • camera tinkering adds little over the default performance
  • design not as striking as some rivals
  • WP7 app support still a little unknown

LG Optimus 7 Review

LG's styling stretches from businesslike to glitzy with a gloss edge and shiny metal back. LG has a long design heritage that oozes class, since the launch of the original Chocolate phone. Here, the LG Optimus 7 is handsome. LG Optimus 7 - Design & Build: Solid and reassuringly weighty.

LG Optimus 7 review: LG Optimus 7

It may not have an AMOLED screen or a QWERTY keyboard, but the Optimus 7 is our pick of the Windows Phone range so far. It's the complete package of design, features and usability that sets it apart. On paper the Optimus 7 doesn't seem to stack up well against the Windows Phone 7 (WP7) competition. It reads like its Windows Phone sibling, the Optimus 7Q, minus the Q's slideout QWERTY keyboard, and it is, after all, made by LG, a company not renowned for making excellent top-shelf devices. But we urge you to read on, in the melee of five new WP7 phones reviewed simultaneously, the Optimus 7 has earned its place at the top of this list.
Pros:
  • Excellent handset design with attention to detail. Mechanical navigation keys. Good LCD display. 16GB on-board storage.
Cons:
  • Some limitations of the WP7 OS.

LG Optimus 7 Review

LG has been trying to crack the smartphone market for some time but hasn't had much success with it. It started out by making Android phones but was quickly overshadowed by Samsung, HTC and Motorola. Now it seems, that LG is planning to delve deeper, into Windows Phone 7 territory.
