LG Optimus 7 smartphone
LG's Optimus 7 is one of five smartphones launched in Australia that run Microsoft's new mobile operating system, Windows Phone 7 . The Optimus 7 is something of a rarity for LG, which is better known for its low-end, budget smartphones.
Pros:
- 16GB internal memory
- good build quality
- relatively compact for a smartphone with a 3.8in screen
Cons:
- No memory card slot for extra storage
- physical keys aren't backlit

LG's Optimus 7 & Samsung's Focus Reviewed: A Tale of Two Windows Phones
How do you even begin to compete with Apple or Google? Both companies have a knack for identifying the wrong way to do something and doing the exact opposite. The latter tends to give away much of its innovation while the former somehow makes it cool to charge handsomely for it.

LG Optimus 7 Review by 3G.co.uk
A number of Windows Phone 7 handsets have come onto the market, and because Microsoft has been strict about their software and hardware specification, the phone makers have had to make an extra effort to make their devices stand out from the crowd.
Pros:
- : Fantastic display
- great social phonebook
- good support for webmail
- decent price
- nifty apps from LG
Cons:
- : Making a call is long-winded
- app store is disappointing at the moment

LG Optimus 7 Review – A New Kind of Phone
The E900 Optimus 7 is the first smartphone manufactured by Korean company LG that runs on Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 mobile platform. Unlike its Windows Mobile predecessor, which was targeted at enterprise users, the Windows Phone 7 operating system is aimed at consumers.
Pros:
- LG Optimus 7 is one of best looking WP7 phone, as it uses high-quality materials and excellent finishes
- The bundled LG apps are also a nice addition to the operating system: Panorama shot, ScanSearch and PlayTo.
Cons:
- Unfortunately, the phone's downsides are mostly related to the Windows Phone 7 platform
- A big list of unsupported features plagues the operating system: no copy/paste, no storage mode, no file manager, no Bluetooth file transfers, no Flash support, no video-calls support, no multitasking, no...

LG Optimus 7
A reasonable deal as Windows phones go but it's still dear, and the OS still has much to prove

Windows Phone 7 made its debut a couple of months ago, and it made quite an impression on the PC Pro team. For a mobile OS designed from the ground up in little more than 18 months, it looked slick, was easy to use, and has proven extremely responsive on all the phones we've tested so far.

Great phone!
I love my Optimus 7! It fits really nice in your hand and it has really nice build quality! The 3.8" capacative touch screen is really nice with the Gorilla Glass which makes it very scratch resistant. Maybe the LCD display isn't as good as the S-AMOLED on the Focus and Omnia but I really like it!
Pros:
- Really nice build quality
- Nice new WP7 OS
- Gorilla Glass
- Fast
- Average camera quality
- Play To (DLNA
- Xbox LIVE
Cons:
- The camera could be better in the dark
- The LCD screen isn't as good as the Focus or Omnia

Pros:
- Sturdy metal casing
- Good value
Cons:
- Buttons feel cheap
- Odd looks

LG Optimus 7 smartphone
There's not a huge amount of difference between the current array of WinPho 7 handsets but LG's Optimus 7 distinguishes itself by being Vodafone only and offering a few unique apps, notably its DLNA networking feature.

LG Optimus 7 review
If last night's cameo showing off the official Twitter client for Windows Phone 7 wasn't enough of a hint, yes, we've gotten our hands on LG's Optimus 7 . This 3.8-inch machine will serve as LG's international WP7 ambassador while Americans get to grips with its QWERTY keyboard-equipped Quantum...
Pros:
- Outstanding fit and finish
- Generously sized battery
- Play To media streaming legitimately useful
Cons:
- Generic LCD is a step behind Super screens
- Awkward microUSB port cover
- Smallish power button
