Great starter kit!
Bought this for our 8 year old for his birthday. I love the fact that it comes with an "idea" book. The best part,hands down, is the hard plastic carrying case that comes with it. I'd prefer it to have snap closure on the side as the lid just sits on it (this doesn't keep the toddlers out of it).

Timeless Toy
Lego is a timeless, classic toy and my six year old daughter gets endless fun from building and creating and deconstructing the blocks. The only gripe I habe is that it's needlessly expensive and you don't get much for your money.

great for any age
This is the best product for all ages. As it makes you think, it works on hand eye coordination, also working to a plan to make the Lego model, or going free hand to make anything.

Box of Lego
I bought this for my granddaughter's 6th birthday as she wants to make and build her own designs and ideas. Her 3 year old brother also loved it. The large box keeps all the pieces together.

Starting Over
When I got back into the Lego game and wanted to start acquiring pieces and sets for my boys, I bought one of these to pad the parts bin. I also use the container to store my 1 x 4 bricks.

Summary: For $27 you get all of these legos Done. The Good: You can buy all of these legos at a megablox price. There is no longer a reason for your kids to think that you don't love them. The addition of story-starters is good for children who need some help determining what to build.

Quality of the product is very good. The built models looks very good
Quality of the product is very good. The built models looks very good. Multiple objects can be built and the block are available to build all models at a time. Only difficulty is the size of blocks....I would love it if those are 1.5 times bigger

My Princess ages- 3 and 4 love it
MY both daughter 3 and 4 years old spend much of their play time with their first Lego set- Classic medium and Lego Friends. some of their imagination results are in pictures. The best they did and I loved is "wind mIl", "Park" and "drop zone"

Perfect Stopgap
After having our first child this year we resolved to stay up to date and keep a LEGO Winter Village with all of the released sets and any sets to come. Well of course it was a huge mistake getting all these holiday sets early and waiting to build them until season-appropriate...
