Love the mini size but am surprised at how heavy i
I love this mixer. It look great, is smaller in size and does a great job of complete mixing but why is it so heavy I bought it to replace a much more cumbersome 9-yr-old model from another brand. I wanted something smaller which was easier to store and use and had the planetary action.

Compact
I have the larger kitchenAid mixer and thought the smaller one would be a great addition for those smaller mixes and I wasn't disappointed, Love it!

A Thing of Beauty
Yes, it is. Slightly more compact size fits in well, beater/whisk/dough hook fine. It's heavy so doesn't wander around the worktop when in use, and range of speeds good. I've found that the beater etc don't quite get all mixture from the sides so occasional need to stop and scrape down.
