This mostly adds exploration. The story isn't the best but is still good. I adds a cool floating city called Idylla. There are giants now who populate the city. I personally think the legend of dead kel is better but this still is a must get dlc.

When I first heard about this game, it was in comparison to Elder Scrolls. While both games have their positives & negatives. I will not begin to debate them here. Reckoning Kindoms of Amular is a very good game.
Single player action meets MMO missions, with surprising results. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (or KAR for the rest of this review) is an interesting proposition, which answers some very fresh questions about RPGs as a genre.
Excellent; intuitive combat; multiple character variations; with simple options to swap for a new build; hundreds of levels; with hours of gameplay; large gameworld with an open approach to levelling; great graphics; with good sound too; hugely immersive world; with plenty to lose yourself in...
Can get repetitive; raid-style dungeons still lack some depth; cartoony style will put some people off; no 3D options; plays better with a controller; which it feels designed for
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a semi-open world RPG. The character development is one of the most engaging I have used in recent years with the ability to create two-way and three-way hybrid class each with their own unique abilities and upgrades.
Diverse character developement options; Rich story line; Lots of side quests; Non-linear gameplay
Grindy leveling; Slow movement; Simple combat - a lot of kiting
From the people involved in two of the biggest games ever, and a first class writter of fantasy books you would expect a very good game. And this is what this game is - it looks so good, the stories are very deep, and it just keeps pulling you back for more.
A bit slow getting into the story but after a wile the game gets awsome
It has wonderful graphics and lots of variety. Very well thought out. Extremely Creative. Many aspects of the game are very different from any other game that I have ever played.
This game was a joy to play from start to finish. I enjoyed this game so much that I own it on both Xbox 360 and PC. I have been a long time gamer and never have I played a western RPG that had such an enjoyable combat system.
The game really is pretty massive, with tons to explore and oh SO many quests! There are some (pretty minor but disappointing) bugs, but overall it's a great game that should keep you occupied for hours..
Good but not better than skyrim, still it is quite enjoyable and it kept be busy for whole 2 months, overall a huge game with lot of fun, recommended for rpg gamers
