"Simply amazing game!"

This game has beautiful graphics and the campaign is a lot of fun! The multiplayer is also very fun and could be a game on its own. This is a must have game for any ps4 owner as it show cases the ps4's amazing graphics and gameplay

Not for the average Killzone fan

I have gone back and played every game in the Killzone franchise while I have been waiting in anticipation for the PS4 to come out. Each game had its pros and cons but I found myself enjoying them and the story very much.

Killzone: Shadow Fall Review

Shadow Fall represents the Killzone series' coming-out party – out from being a plodding, gray war shooter through hours of bland, linear corridors. Now, it's something else entirely.

Stunning graphics; Reworked gameplay; Fun multiplayer

Occasionally poor enemy AI; Questionable non-shooter sections

Killzone: Shadow Fall

The long wait is over and we get our very first taste of next-generation gaming, with Sony's PS4 flagship title, Killzone: Shadow Fall. Having seen the game in action both during the E3 and at Gamescom, we were more than eager to finally go through the entire package.

It's jaw-dropping gorgeous; has a really unique and fun implementation of the touchpad; and; like its predecessors; has a great multiplayer experience that includes customizable matches

Forced script; unintuitive objectives; padded length in the final missions thanks to way too many busy-work tasks; and an ungodly frustrating final boss

Commonplace co-op.

What's your favorite kind of co-op shooter? The ultra-competitive, team-based thrills of a Battlefield Domination match? The wave-based panic of Gears of War 's Horde mode? Or maybe you're partial to the strategic gore-fest that is a game of Left 4 Dead ?

Defending capture points is fun when working together as a team; Technically impressive visuals

Core banking mechanic becomes repetitive; Bosses are dull and a wasted opportunity; Blends many ideas together but excels at few of them; Character classes and power-ups lack punch

Killzone: Shadow Fall review

During its 2013 media briefing at E3, Sony revealed the first footage I ever saw of Killzone: Shadow Fall . The brief interactive demo revealed an absolutely gorgeous scene. A futuristic aircraft of some sort--not quite a transport helicopter, but close--descended toward a magnificent city rising...

Ordered chaos

A solid game that definitely has an audience. Might lack replay value, could be too short or there are some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Very few games have had a history as colorful as Killzone . Originally touted as a Halo killer for the PlayStation 2, the game had no chance to live up to the hefty standards given to it. It was an average shooter, though that's not what was expected of it, and was therefore considered a flop.

Killzone: Shadow Fall (PS4) Review

Let's get something out of the way real quick: I'm awful at FPS games. I mean, just terrible. I grew up in an era when a "shooter" meant you held the Nintendo Zapper in your hand, or pumped quarters into a machine that let you use the revolver on coin-op Hogan's Alley.

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Parents need to know Killzone: Shadow Fall is an M-rated, futuristic, sci-fi shooter with a constant stream of gritty, bloody gunfights. Characters frequently die screaming in pain, and one scene depicts brutal torture via an electric prod.
