I have only used my new Kenwood KMix once however I was very pleased. It is a very sturdy piece of equipment and looks great on my workbench. It was very easy to use and produced great results.

Wanted the folding attachment not included with this purchase and had to buy separately hence 4 stars. Made s beautiful Victoria Sponge. My mum had Kenwood hope this one is just as reliable.

Very solid, well built; Good value compared to Kitchen Aid (and British); Clear bowl means mixing clearly visible

Very heavy and large - but that comes with the territory; expected

Creams butter and sugar superbly (important in cake-making); It's easy to use and not very noisy; Very stable

Finding somewhere to store it on my tiny bench, and somewhere for all the beaters; My problem, not the machine's! :

I'm in love with this! was heavier than I thought but it's sturdy so will last a long time. easy to use. also purchased extra cover at a great price.

"What a lovely bit of kit. If you're choosing between the kitchen aid device and this you do need to touch both. The power for this is adjusted with a smooth rotary dial, the kitchen aid with a ratchet. Both look very good. Personal preference was for the rotary dial. Built to last a lifetime.
