A one-note experience isn't necessarily a bad thing when it delivers on that one thing exceptionally well. Just Cause 3 has occasional physics problems and a lack of variety, but it's fantastic if you just want to drop into a world and immediately start blowing it up.

Don't let the brochure fool you, Medici is a terrible vacation spot. Not only will Rico Rodriguez go head-to-head with an army hell-bent on world domination, but he'll also need to overcome a mountain of technical problems.

Rico Rodriguez is all action. If you want your heroes firing rockets while hanging from the underside of a helicopter while tanks and soldiers wage war beneath, he's absolutely your man.

When I met Just Cause 3's game director , Roland Lesterlin, at this year's PAX Australia, he coined a new term, a ‘game-cation' saying "Just Cause is kind of a perfect game to go in and play for a few of hours, blow some stuff up and just get some sunshine, and wing-suit through the world.

Just Cause 3 is a great game. It's a fantastic game even. The few nitpicks I had with Fast Travel and Supply Drops are issues I was willing to overlook. But I can't in good conscience recommend this game to anyone at the moment, not while the performance issues are so bad.

Just Cause 3; like its predecessor; once again puts you in the shoes of Rico Rodriguez; a somewhat lovable protagonist with a hefty appetite for destruction; and a touch of sarcasm that make his lines a lot more bearable; The destruction is fantastic.

Why is there a currency for both Supply Drops? For a game that wants you to forgo restraint and throw caution to the wind; it's odd that Supply Drops require Supply Tokens in order to be used.

It's good for what it is - a random playground where you blow stuff up. Better title for it would have been "Just Because 3", as the meat of the game is destruction and doing random things in a sandbox "just because". However, if you're looking for a game of substance, this isn't the one for you.

Imagine a roller coaster that stops for maintenance every 30 feet and doesn't allow you to exit, even after you've already been around the track a few dozen times. Just Cause 3 fails you seconds after you pop the disc in.

Just Cause 2 was a welcome surprise that came out of nowhere and hooked me from the very beginning. Not only did I savor the open-ended gameplay, but I also invested many, many hours that had absolutely nothing to do with mission goals. Simply put, the game was a blast to play.
