A one-note experience isn't necessarily a bad thing when it delivers on that one thing exceptionally well. Just Cause 3 has occasional physics problems and a lack of variety, but it's fantastic if you just want to drop into a world and immediately start blowing it up.

Rico Rodriguez is all action. If you want your heroes firing rockets while hanging from the underside of a helicopter while tanks and soldiers wage war beneath, he's absolutely your man.

Please do your research before buying this game. It's a ton of fun and the open-world and action can be really enjoyable BUT! It has terrible lagging issues on PS4 and on the other systems as well from what I've seen and read.

It's good for what it is - a random playground where you blow stuff up. Better title for it would have been "Just Because 3", as the meat of the game is destruction and doing random things in a sandbox "just because". However, if you're looking for a game of substance, this isn't the one for you.

This game rocks! I have not had any gameplay issues (stuttering, freezes, coding etc) referenced by other reviewers. It's a nice easy game that lets you blow stuff up in about a thousand different ways. Great choice of vehicles and the wingsuit and grappler are both lots of fun.
