When the announcement of the new Jo Malone Basil & Neroli Cologne was first made, I had a little laugh over it. It was about the time that I had just started my little basil growing experiment (still going strong, thank you for asking!) and I was big on everything basil.

In my ideal world, I live some place sunny that smells like sea breeze and lemon blossoms. I leave my house, wearing all white linen ensembles, sandals and large sunglasses. My skin perpetually smells of bitter orange and jasmine.

This really smells like roses. I always get compliments on it. One of my coworkers actually thought that someone sent me flowers because of this scent.

I like to spend a bit more to get a GREAT scent and this one is a FAV of mine. I get compliments every time I wear it and I am happy when someone mentions that it is "my" scent. Clean and not overpowering, this is one of those PERFECT scents that you can wear in any occasion.

This is a very beautiful scent that really lasts, I wore this (as did many other members of the family) to my grandmother's funeral in honour of her name and I could still smell it fresh on my dress the next day when I put the washing on.
