The clip was loose and I lost it the first day I wore it so I cannot comment on how it works . I would like a replacement but don't seem to be able to contact the seller.

I have had the Jawbone Up Move for a year now (correction - I have had 4 Jawbone Up Move's this year). They have a one year warranty and stand behind that warranty very well, I love the app and operating system and for an expensive tracker its perfect for me.
2014 was certainly the year of the wearable, with countless companies coming out with their take on fitness trackers and the like. The last one that I get to review before the year closes is the Jawbone UP Move, a tiny and affordable fitness tracker that aims to get you accustomed to using a...
+ Good battery life; + Affordable; + Great companion app
- Slow to sync; - Bands sold separately; - Uninteresting design
At only $49, the Jawbone UP Move is a great entry-level fitness tracker, with an app that's easy to use and indicator lights that make sense. The ability to change the form factor from wristband to clip-on device makes sense, but doesn't mitigate one little drawback: It's not stylish.
Inexpensive; Tracks steps, activities, and light and deep sleep; Includes multiple wristbands and a clip holster; Helpful indicator lights; Very good app
Unattractive. No true on-device display. Requires iOS or Android device; no computer syncing. No Web app. Not rechargeable. Sensors fairly rudimentary
A year ago, the Jawbone Up24 was one of our favorite fitness bands: not necessarily for its band design, but because it connected with the excellent Jawbone Up app, one of the best fitness app ecosystems around.
An affordable step and sleep tracker that can be worn on your wrist or as a clip-on; syncs wirelessly with iOS or Android; LED display shows daily goal progress; replaceable battery lasts for months. The Jawbone Up fitness app is the best, most well-connected ecosystem around
The Up Move has an ugly design and can't be worn in shower or while swimming; The wristband is sold separately, and it lacks the vibration alarm of more expensive Up bands

Up is a one-stop software hub that tracks everything from steps to sleep to calorie intake, and even gives lifestyle coaching and delivers insights based on your accumulated habits.
The little Jawbone Up Move is an affordable entry to a great fitness app, though its design leaves something to be desired.

Activity trackers help people come to grips with how much (or little) movement and sleep they get in a day. Figuring out your current habits of walking, exercising, and sleeping can be the first step toward making big changes to your health, because it gives you a baseline to beat and helps you set new goals that are truly within your reach. At only $49, the Jawbone UP Move is a very good entry-level activity tracker and is in many ways on par with the equally priced Misfit Flash ($74.95 at Amazon) . Comparable in many ways, they have two major differences: The Jawbone UP Move has a better app that gives you more information about your habits, but the Misfit Flash is much better looking. The Jawbone UP Move would make a great gift for someone using a fitness tracker for the first time—and the price is right—but it would likely disappoint a more experienced user looking to upgrade to a product that could provide a richer experience. For that camp, my recommendation is the Basis Pe...

While this is marketed as a digital activity tracker, it is basically a bluetooth-enabled pedometer sensor with a smart phone interface. It is small, unobtrusive, inexpensive and works. It can also do crude sleep tracking (how often you turn over).
cheap; Reliable; Simple
This is more accurate than the clip. It's comfortable to wear. I found it easy to take on and off. However, it does fall off at random times, and you might not notice. I overcame this by using a tiny, clear, hair rubberband, and have not had issues since.
For under £40, the Move is superb value. Although it doesn't track certain activities or height climbed, its great sleep tracking makes up for that. Soon you'll be able to buy the Up3 which will have considerably better sleep tracking but at this price, the Move is the best-value activity tracker...
