The first phone earpiece I got was from a company called Jabra. I thought it a funny name, but due to the build quality and excellent functionality, I came to trust that name. I was recently sent my third product from the company, the Jabra Speak 710.

I do have to participate in calls way more often than I care to admit, and making or taking calls is not my favorite thing - apologies to anyone reading this that has ever had to talk to me on the phone; it's not you, it's me.

Small and compact; Great for conference calls involving smaller groups of people around a table (up to six); omnidirectional microphone so everyone around the 710 can participate; Can be linked to a second Jabra Speak 710 for larger conference calls; Makes a great Hi Fi laptop, tablet, or phone...

If you are buying it solely to be a portable speaker; there are less expensive speakers available

The Jabra Speak 710 is a wired or wireless, mono or stereo speaker with an omnidirectional microphone designed for HD voice and conference calls. It's also a pretty good music device, but I'm gathering that's not the crowd it's aimed at.

This product does not work well with Soft Phones at all. The sound quality is terribly poor with a clicking noise on my end when I make a call. As for the mic - there is a humming sound on the other end of my call. "It sounds like your standing next to an airplane underwater". Would not buy again.

This was purchased to use with Skype for Business (SFB) on my Macbook Pro, and general use with my ipad, and iphone. So far I am very impressed with the excellent voice quality. The physical controls on the speakerphone worked fine with SFB on the Mac.

Having previously bought the Jabra 510 for teleconferencing and been very pleased with it I was looking forward to seeing how the 710 would perform. Well, on the whole I can say it's made a good product even better. The call clarity is superb and the bluetooth connection is very stable.
