Background noise is not cancelled out. If someone is talking say in another room and both doors are open, then the person you are talking to can hear the person in the other room. When i say hear, i mean the words not just a distance sound.

I bought the Jabra Pro 9450 Duo because I wanted a headset that would allow me to have long conference calls using the landline and Skype using the same headset. It's very good for that. It takes a little bit of setting up and I had to call Jabra tech support twice. They were very helpful.

The sound is great in both directions, and the headset is comfortable. The ear hook was my preference, but didn't work for me (not a snug enough fit).

This headset has been the worst purchase I have ever made. Worked great for about a month. Then the microphone started cutting out to the point my job thought it was my system and they had to do a profile reset and set me back on my work for 2 weeks. Today the entire set DIED.

I work from home and this is an excellent headset.

I bought this product to use in a different way than most people would. I wanted to use it in my Amateure radio station. Even though I have very expensive studio style microphones I wanted the Conveinance of having wire less capabilites . So I did a little research and decided on this model.

The headsets are comfortable and sound great. Easy to set up and use. Very convenient to charge and place back in cradle. Easily worn all day with no discomfort. Clarity on all calls has been fantastic. Highly recommended.
