I am a truck driver. Was looking forward to using this product until I finally got it after the shipping date was delayed. Had to wait two weeks and then one of the pieces needed to connect to my cell phone was missing. I had to go looking all over the internet to find this piece.

IF you have a Cisco IP Phone, and I'd imagine an Avaya, or other kind of IP Phone, you DO NOT NEED an apmlifier for this headset. Simply get the quick-connect adapter. YOU NEED TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!! The quick-connect adapter has a volume control on it to set the microphone volume. USE IT.
