Jabra Elite Active 75t review

Like the Jabra Elite 75t, the sportier Active 75T doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some leading true wireless buds – there’s no active noise cancellation for a kick off. They’re nice looking though still not quite as stylish and simple to use as the AirPods Pro. And though they’re marginally more durable than the Elite 75T, you’re probably just as well saving the extra £20 and buying the Elite 75T. That said, if you’re the kind of person who might drop them down the loo and you want a bit of security they’d survive the trip, even at £189.99, you’ll be hard pressed to find a pair of earbuds that pack in so much for the price.

Good battery life; Pocket-friendly; Customisable audio;

Rapid charge is slower than most; No active noise cancellation;

Jabra Elite Active 75t True Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones - Navy 100-99091000-40 review

A fantastic set of truly wireless sports headphones, but we’d be tempted to buy the Jabra Elite 75t for £20 less

Jabra Elite Active 75t True Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones - Navy 100-99091000-40 review

Jabra's Elite Active 75t earphones improve upon the original pair with a more secure fit and a waterproof design for a real true wireless winner.

Powerful audio with thunderous bass and bright high, Excellent in-app EQ, Waterproof, dust-resistant design, Super-secure in-ear fit

Expensive, Sculpted sound signature might be too much for some

Jabra Elite Active 75t True Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones - Navy 100-99091000-40 review

Comfortable fit that doesn't budge when running. Lengthy battery life. Superior audio with customizable equalizer.

Can't charge wirelessly, but that doesn't really bother me tbh.

Jabra Elite Active 75t review: Top-notch wireless sports earbuds

As it did with its last-generation true wireless headphones, Jabra has once again released a very slight upgrade to its newer Elite 75t model. The new Elite Active 75t arrives about three months or so after the standard Elite 75t (sans Active) debuted. That model was downright excellent, earning a CNET Editors' Choice award. This "active lifestyle edition" costs $200 (£190; $AU329) or $20 more than the standard version and has some small design upgrades. Is it worth the extra dough? The short answer is that for most people, probably not. But if you're looking for a sports headphone for running and other athletic pursuits -- and you sweat a lot -- spending a little more on the Elite Active 75t may give you some added peace of mind that your headphones may hold up better over time.

They cost $20 more than the standard Elite 75t, but sports enthusiasts looking for more durability will appreciate what the Active has to offer.

Better fit and smaller than previous model; Added coating for dust and sweat resistance; Sound better than the AirPods Pro, with better clarity and tighter bass; Good for making calls; IP57 water-resistance rating (fully waterproof); HearThrough transparency mode (lets ambient noise in); 7.5-hour battery life between charges; USB-C charging;

No active noise canceling; No wireless charging; AirPods Pro are slightly better for making calls;

Jabra Elite Active 75t True Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones - Navy 100-99091000-40 review

Like the Elite 75T, the Active 75T are a fantastic pair of true wireless earbuds with the added appeal of a more durable design to make them a better fit for when you're getting sweaty

Powerful sound performance, Comfortable and secure fit, Easy-to-use onboard controls

Not that different from Elite 75T, Mic quality good, but not fantastic

Waterproof and great battery life, but sound doesn't live up to the price tag

Great battery life, waterproof
