In march Intel introduces its new dual-socket server platform based on the Sandy Bridge architecture. Hardware.Info tested the Xeon E5-2690 and Xeon E5-2660.

The Good: Excellent performance and power characteristics. Blows Westmere and Valencia out of the water.
