Works well for intended purposes. Maybe a bit overkill if just intending to game, but is great if you have some extra budget to spare over the 12600. One thing to note that I did not know before this was that 4.9Ghz is only for single core, and multicore boost only reaches about 4.5Ghz each.

Fast, well balanced cpu for gaming and multi tasking.

Very happy with the CPU performance. You will need a decent CPU fan, as the supplied stock cooler is really only suited for light workloads. Even running 3 cores at 100%CPU was enough to send it over 90 degrees.
