this is the most amazing processor ever. i use this for absolutely everything in between the lines of hardcore gaming and 3D modeling and this processor has never let me down. overclocks very easy also and with minimum voltage raises.

Ive been a AMD guy for the longest time but with this I5 2500k I am now a Intel only guy. This thing overclocks like crazy! and it keeps so nice and cool. I love this chip and will be buying Intel only from now on.

Bought for a customer who wanted a editing computer with OC capabality, didnt go with ivy at teh time due to overheating chip issues reported. Ran great and fast Oced to 4.4 with a little vcore bump and ran stable with decent temps, maxing out at 56 degrees.

Best processor I ever purchased in 2011. In 2018, I have now OC'd my 2500K to 4.8ghz (with closed loop water cooling). Runs amazingly well to this day without a hiccup. I'm going to push this thing until DDR5 or (2019/2020) whichever comes first.

I have built quite a few units with this cpu and after comparing this cpu to the 2600k, and the 2700K, I found that it can be O'C to higher ratings while remaining relatively cool. This cpu is much sought after because of this, like the 875K, it will be a winner for a long time.

The Intel Core i5-2500k processor is lightning fast, versatile, and worth every penny of its price ($219). In that particular price range, the i5 may be easily considered as "top dog." Before deciding on its purchase, I researched it thoroughly as not to waste money.

Really, One Of The Best chips Ive Encountered Since Quad Core, Sure i7 Is Great, But The Difference In Performance Is So Slight, I Would Not Reccommend Wasting Hundreds Of Pounds On An i7, And I Wouldn't Reccommend the Low 870...
