I recommend this SSD for home pc. This was a great buy and there have been no hic-ups in the product's performance. My home PC boots up faster and lag time in drive retrieval is non-existent.

Perfect using the included software contents of existing drive were easily moved to my new SSD and it now boots in a fraction of the time very pleased and would strongly recommend .
Installed these in
Comes with a 3.5" bay adapter; screws; SATA cable; and a power cable adapter; if needed
Screws were too long; They bottomed out in the drive before they bit into the adapter plate; Used some other screws
INTEL Solid drive is optimal solution for every day computer: Real lieder in price / GB and 5 years warranty. I have 180gb for main system drive. It's enough for keeping your PC in excellent work condition. Internet is never "frozen" very fast booting.
One of the fastest SSD's at this price and a great product. Intel also have a monitoring application for their drives which i think is an excellent benefit.
I expected to replace my aging laptop drive with this unit. After doing a backup to my home server, I did a bare metal restore to the SSD. System came up immediately (and faster) with no issues at all. Overall performance is improved in all the expected areas.
So far so good with my drive. Used Clonezilla to migrate my Win7 / Linux dual boot spinning drive over and all went smoothly. Boot time/ resume from sleep time is very snappy. I mainly use Linux and have 16GB of RAM so no need for swap which is not recommended to be placed on SSD.
speed; quiet ; deal price ; mounting hw included
none so far
