Say hi to Delsin Rowe – your new protagonist in the inFamous series. He's a teen with some serious growing up issues who directs that attitude to his older cop brother and wears a trendy beanie with chains around his neck – kinda a skater boy from the 90's. He's a swell guy anyone could lov… What?

Great new power concepts | Shows off the power of the PS4

Campaign is a bit short if you only play it once | This is the PS4; why are there not puddles in the water when running

Infamous: Second Son Review

Open-world superhero action games are about freedom and empowerment, and in these regards, Second Son is really impressive. Seattle is a big, beautiful playground for you to stomp around in with a set of devilishly fun and powerful toys at your disposal.

Gorgeous visuals; Fun combat; Diverse powers; Character chemistry

Plot and morality issues

Second Son's gorgeous visuals, fun powers, likeable main character and its beautiful, well-realised open world make it the best PS4 game released so far.

The Son Also Rises

A lot of folks were looking at Infamous Second Son as the bellwether of what this generation would hold. It doesn't end up disappointing, combining outstanding visuals with refined gameplay that is a welcome visitor early in this generation.

inFamous: Second Son Review – Come as you are

Infamous: Second Son wears its rebellious heart on its sleeve. Brimming with attitude, unrelenting and massive to take in, the game never forgets the most important aspect of game design however, and remains consistently fun.

PS4's Best Tech Demo

The inFamous series has always focused and excelled doing two things: moral choices impacting a great story and awesome powers. Unfortunately, Second Son sacrifices the former in order to focus on the latter.

inFamous: Second Son (PlayStation 4) Review

Founded in 1997, Sucker Punch Productions began life as a Nintendo 64 supporter, with Rocket: Robot on Wheels , released in 1999. This game would set conventions for Sucker Punch to adapt in the future, featuring a protagonist that would gain new abilities as the player progressed within one of the...

Review: InFAMOUS: Second Son

InFamous: Second Son tells the story of Delsin Rowe, a 24 year old native of the Akomish tribe located outside of Seattle, Washington. Set seven years after the events of InFamous 2, the world has been exposed and made aware of the potential threat of conduits.

Vibrant; eccentric colours in a beautifully detailed seattle; Most responsive controls from a PS4 game yet; Best character development the series has seen

Unfulfilled Story that feels too short; even underdeveloped

InFamous: Second Son Review

It's taken just over five months and now we finally have a PS4 exclusive that is the almost perfect showcase for Sony's current gen console. It might not be a system seller in the way that Titanfall for the Xbox One is, but it makes a significantly greater impression than Knack or Killzone: Shadow...

Stunning lighting effects; Enjoyable combat; Impressive open-world environment

Morality system needs more depth; Side missions are forgettable

PlayStation 4 Infamous Second Son INFAMSSPS4 review

It is surprising how fully realized Infamous: Second Son is so early in the PlayStation 4’s life cycle. It cracks the code on what makes Infamous interesting as a series. Sucker Punch finally made a sandbox game with super powers as fun and dynamic as it should be.
