PlayStation 4 Infamous Second Son INFAMSSPS4 review

Sucker Punch really is one of my favorite developers. I seldom run into a game made by them that I would describe as bad. Both the Sly Cooper series that they originated and the inFamous series which they began, and are now continuing with Second Son , have been stellar gaming experiences, with some...

PlayStation 4 Infamous Second Son INFAMSSPS4 review

Sucker Punch’s first game on the PS4 is filled with a lot of fun moments even though the story itself is a little on the light side.

The Paint Washes Off

The selling point of a new console generation always seems to be graphics, and the current transition to the PS4 and XBox One has been no different-every comparison of the most recent boxes hinges on polygons, pixels, and framerates.

inFAMOUS: Second Son - Review

Building on the success of the previous two instalments, Sucker Punch Productions returns with a brand new take on the series with inFAMOUS: Second Son . Replacing Cole MacGrath, players assume the role of Delsin Rowe, an Akomish Native American who has a habit of getting into trouble, pitting him...

Experience beautiful Seattle in a native 1080p resolution; Superb voice acting that delivers memorable dialog; An open world environment that changes with player actions

Touchpad integration can feel clunky at times; Use of the Dual Shock 4's speaker is unnecessary; Lack of a mission select option is disappointing

inFamous: Second Son Review

Confession time: I never really got into the Infamous series on PlayStation 3. When the original came out, it felt like a lesser version of the potential of the power palette on offer in Prototype (even though Prototype was, itself, a flawed affair).

Infamous: Second Son review

I can think of a hundred ways to start this review, but none that truly capture the beginning of this game. I'll go as far as saying that this is the first must-own game for the PS4. It's just oh so next-gen, it makes you feel you're playing an action-adventure for the first time all over again.

InFamous: Second Son Review

It's taken just over five months and now we finally have a PS4 exclusive that is the almost perfect showcase for Sony's current gen console. It might not be a system seller in the way that Titanfall for the Xbox One is, but it makes a significantly greater impression than Knack or Killzone: Shadow...

Stunning lighting effects; Enjoyable combat; Impressive open-world environment

Morality system needs more depth; Side missions are forgettable

Amazing graphics!

I've never played any infamous games before, maybe I should have! But I decided to give it a try from the good reviews I've read.
