It was just last year that Kingston HyperX decided to rebrand some SteelSeries headsets. Sure, they were pretty good headsets for gamers on a budget.

This headset is very comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is fantastic! It does not have "active" noise cancellation, however, the passive isolation is very good. This is simply a wonderful headset. I picked these up to replace an old pair of Logitech's i had and the difference was very noticeable. Both sets of cuffs were very soft (this headset comes with two). No scratchy feeling with the cloth ones.

After looking into countless headphones for gaming and media use, I finally decided on these. they are light weight, but well constructed and the braided cords look amazing. the 7.1 inline surround option works really well and is why you should buy the hyper x 2 over the hyper x 1.

I don't mind paying good money for a good product, this is a great product. Worth every penny & a must buy if your wanting decent headphones with a microphone!!
