Huawei P10 64GB

Huawei P10 is a really smart phone. It applies artificial intelligence (AI) to boost the performance of apps and the scrolling experience. Huawei claims that apps open 20% due to AI technology.

The phone sports a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 px. The latest flagship phone is powered by the in-house developed Kirin 960-processor and has 4 GB of RAM. The storage capacity is 64 GB.

Huawei skins the standard Android version with the EMUI skin, which ensures a slick and unique user interface onto of the Android operating system.

P10's battery capacity is sizeable at 3,200 mAh, but still 14.6% lower than that of the larger Huawei P10 Plus model.

The co-operation with Leica guarantees a high-quality camera. the dual rear camera combines a 20 MP monochrome sensor with a 12 MP colour sensor. The monochrome sensor collects details and light while the colour one applies colours.

The call quality is excellent thanks to the four mini-antennas that boost signal strength in low-coverage areas.

Poor quality, poor fit

very disappointed, not a good fit and it seems like the edge is a more flexible material that was so thin it was sharp. Also, there is a seam between the glass and this flexible edge and I couldn't get that to stay flush with the phone screen leaving a long skinny bubble all along the edge.

Huawei P10

Huawei is not afraid to aim high. The Chinese manufacturer came to the western market in relative obscurity just a few years ago, and is now the world's third biggest phone manufacturer. Within five years, it says, it wants to be the first.

Premium build; Innovative camera format; Fast performance; Great pictures in good light

Screen tends to be oversharp; Music lacks bite; Low-light photography could be better; Heavy-handed UI

Another year, another smartphone from the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world (by market share) that is somehow playing catch-up in the public consciousness. Quite how Huawei, a Chinese manufacturer that shipped almost 140 million smartphone units in 2016, maintains an underdog status...

Huawei P10 review: two steps back

The P10 is both attractive and derivative. I've used a lot of shameless iPhone clones from Chinese companies like Meizu and Vivo over the past year or so, and the P10 isn't in that category. It does, however, swerve pretty hard in the direction of Cupertino.

Attractive (if derivative) design; Great camera functionality; Solid performance and endurance

Staggeringly awful home button; Uninspired; unreliable software; Overpriced next to competition

In a vacuum without any competition, the Huawei P10 would be a decent device. It boasts solid performance, decent battery life, a great display and respectable cameras. The design is comfortable thanks to is smaller-than-average display and metal unibody construction.

Great performance with dependable battery life; Huawei's compact aluminium unibody still feels premium; Improved dual camera system can take good photos

Only minor upgrades over the now much cheaper P9; No oleophobic coating; EMUI software needs work, and Huawei's update track record is not great

Huawei P10 review

The Huawei P10 looks to be a great phone you'll love if you're upgrading from a two year old handset, but not much has changed here to keep true Huawei fans thrilled by the flagship line.

Improved design; Clever fingerprint scanner; Easy to use Portrait mode

Battery life isn't great; Not suited for Daydream

OnePlus 5T Review

Before wrapping up the review, we would like to show a few more charts so you can see how the OnePlus 5t is positioned when it comes to value for the price . The Oneplus 5t has been thought and designed and a best-value handset from the get go, and such it is a great success.

Great 6-inch 1080p (2160x1080) 18:9 display; Good battery life; USB-C and headphone jack ports; Amazingly fast Dash charging; Great performance; Premium built-quality at a good price

No microSD slot; Not water resistant; No wireless charging; No optical zoom; No OIS

Vivo V9 Review: Stuck in Mediocrity

Midrange phones have become more competitive than ever. Although the Vivo V9 has a great selfie camera, a reliable dual camera on the back and a big gorgeous display, it's in the performance, the battery life and build quality where competitors have easily outperformed the V9 by a good margin.

Good Display; Good Design; Good Cameras (both front and back

Average Battery; Plastic Build; Mediocre performance

Huawei P10 Review: Is Evolution Enough?

In a way, this phone isn't really getting a fair shake, as the most immediate comparison people make is against the bigger brother Mate which only just made it to the United States about a month ago.

Impressive camera performance; Most powerful chipset available (at time of publishing this review; Dazzling Blue model really does prevent fingerprints; Incredibly fast charging

Somewhat derivative design; No official IP rating; Fingerprint gestures might be controversial; "Adequate" audio performance for a premium priced phone
