OnePlus 5T Review: Exactly What The OnePlus 5 Should've Been
OnePlus has made a name in the smartphone industry for consecutively releasing flagship killers . Devices with top-notch specs at a price that put the major players to shame. But, when the Chinese giant launched the OnePlus 5 earlier in 2017, it was subject to some amount of criticism for not...
Overall, the 5T is a healthy addition to the OnePlus family. It takes what we already loved about the OnePlus 5 and refines the design and software a bit, while maintaining a similar sub-$500 price point.
- Great display for 1080p Great battery life Competitive price Dash charging is still the fastest on the market OxygenOS is a breath of fresh air Wonderful performance
- No official IP certification No expandable storage Sub-par low light camera performance
Huawei P10 smartphone review
If you can't run to the more-expensive P10 Plus this is a superb, powerful mid-range phone thanks to the brilliant Leica camera and beefy processors. We loved Huawei’s P9 ‘Leica phone’ last year. It redefined what photography with a phone could be. Now here’s its successor, the P10. Can it be as revolutionary or is it evolutionary? Earlier this week we reviewed the P10 Plus which is a larger, super-charged version of this. It has a bit more memory, a bigger, higher-resolution screen and, supposedly, some better optics. However, in terms of functions and features, it’s basically the same. We were certainly impressed with the P10 Plus, but can you happily save $200 by buying this instead? Let’s find out…- Excellent camera
- Fast
- Low-light colour performance still iffy
Huawei P10
The P10 may just be my favourite phone that Huawei has ever made. It's the design that really struck a chord for me, an all-metal body that mixes highly polished edges with an attractive micro-etched finish on the back.- The compact Huawei P10 is comfortable to hold and looks great
- Its camera is awesome and it has oodles of power
- It's expensive
- the touch-sensitive navigation key is awkward to use and it's not waterproof
Huawei P10 camera review
The Huawei P10 combines good imaging performance and features with premium build quality and fairly compact dimensions. There are better options around for video shooters but the P10 performs very well in stills mode, especially in lower light. The DNG Raw files offer a lot of potential for image quality optimization as well.- Low-light shooting, Raw capture and playing with camera features
- Video-shooting and busy days without recharging opportunities

OnePlus 5T Review: Price to Performance King!
For £499, the OnePlus 5T looks like it has everything you'd expect from a phone that costs hundreds of pounds more. There's a 6in AMOLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, dual camera setup, fingerprint scanner and new facial recognition technology.- Very fast
- Modern design
- Fingerprint scanner and facial recognition are really good
- Clean software with a few useful tweaks
- Dash charge is great
- Camera is disappointing
- Storage not expandable
The Huawei P10 is a solid all-round smartphone, offering smart hardware that's elevated by some well-designed software. If you're after a particular feature or looking to tweak some part of the user experience, chances are the P10 will allow you to do it.
- Vibrant new colours
- Feature-packed camera
- EMUI 5.1
Huawei P10 : stylish and speedy with a superb camera review
The P10 is a really solid Android phone with barely any flaws, beyond that lower-than-the-competition screen and average battery life. No, there’s not anything massively distinctive about it - no LG G6-style bezel-less display, Sony Xperia XZ Premium-style 4K screen, or Samsung Galaxy S7-style curved glass on the front. Instead, it’s just quietly, efficiently, excellent. It has one of the most comprehensive phone cameras out there, packed with useful features and tricks, and is blindingly fast too. Oh, and it has the added bonus of looking really like an iPhone, but not costing as much. Speaking of cost, the P10 looks like retailing at £599 when it arrives on March 31. That’ll put it just a smidgen below the absolute top-tier phones - which is apt, because that’s also where it sits in terms of overall quality.
