The Pro model Huawei Mate 10 Pro employs a large 6.0-inch AMOLED screen. The phone is designed to optimise the usefulness of the available screen space. For example, notifications contain a shortcut at the top to reply to incoming messages using part of the screen (split screen).
The Kirin 970 processor boasts support for AI and includes a neural processor (NPU).
The Mate 10 series also include Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Lite.
A newer model Huawei Mate 20 Pro 128GB was released in October 2018.

A few months ago, Huawei passed Apple to become the second largest smartphone maker in the world, (Samsung's number one). Yet you don't see Huawei ads on TV in the United States, and its phones are seldom sold in any of the big carrier stores.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro review: Beauty and brains, but a questionable bargain
The Mate 10 Pro looks great in photos with the sleek glass frame and small bezels. Yet, as a glass phone, it picks up fingerprints to a maddening degree. The decision to go with glass on this phone doesn't even have a functional component like wireless charging.

Huawei Mate 10 Pro Review – Beautiful, Powerful, Smart
Aside from some big faults in the camera department, the Mate 10 Pro is a great phone. It's got everything you could think of, from a gorgeous and water-resistant build, a near bezel-less design, and gorgeous AMOLED display as well as plenty of software features worth talking about.
