Huawei Mate 10 Pro review: A great phone that's not quite pro
The Mate 10 Pro is a fantastic phone, as long as you can overlook its non-pro parts.- Incredible fast chip with a built-in neural processing unit
- Battery life is the best I've seen on an Android phone
- EMUI 8.0 makes the leap to...
- 1080p display has a lower resolution than last year's Mate Pro
- No headphone jack or expandable storage
Huawei Mate 10 Pro
Another in the range of reviews of the latest mobile phones courtesy of Vodafone whose network coverage is -in my tests anyway - superior to that offered by other mobile phone companies. Huawei are the new kids on the block making others sit up and work harder to catch up.
The Mate 10 Pro is a bit of a dark horse in the smartphone sector, and is one of the better phones that most people won't have easy access to. We say that because Huawei faces an uphill battle in the US market.
- Premium design is as good as any other Android flagship
- Lots of RAM (6GB) and onboard storage (128GB
- Brg and bright display
- Stellar camera performance
- Long battery life
- No expandable storage
- EMUI skin won't appeal to users looking for a purer Android experience
- Auto camera controls could be simplified
- Not offered by any major wireless carriers in the US
Huawei Mate 10 Pro Review: A great phone jumping through hoops
Huawei has been making a lot of noise this year about its Android flagships, most recently making a pitch to oust the iPhone X or Galaxy S9 from your pocket with the P20 Pro. Weirdly, though, that phone isn't officially coming to the US.- Handsome
- well-built design
- Dual Leica cameras produce excellent photos
- Battery life is incredible
- Street pricing is competitive
- No wireless charging or 3.5mm headphone jack
- AI chipset is under-utilized
- EMUI 8.0 is unnecessary
- Screen resolution is short of rivals
Huawei Mate 10 Pro
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a powerful phone that uses a dedicated AI processor to improve camera capabilities and day-to-day performance.- Sleek design
- Edge-to-edge screen
- Dedicated AI processor
- Solid dual cameras
- Connects to bigger screen for desktop experience
- Display can be sharper
- Lacks Bluetooth 5.0
- No headphone jack, microSD card slot, or wireless charging
Huawei Mate 10 Pro Review
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a powerful phone that uses a dedicated AI processor to improve camera capabilities and day-to-day performance. Apple and Google may have machine learning, but Huawei has artificial intelligence. The Mate 10 Pro is the first phone with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), letting it run AI computations with greater efficiency than a CPU or GPU. Processing smarts aside, it also has a sleek glass body, an edge-to-edge display, and solid dual camera sensors, along with all the other premium features you'd expect on a high-end Android phone. At $649.99 it's a bit more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy S9+, but quite a bit more costly than Huawei's own View 10 and only available online and unlocked, making it a hard sell in the US market. Design, Features, and Display Glass is making a comeback. Unlike the aluminum Mate 9, the Mate 10 Pro ( at Amazon) features an all-glass body that curves along the back for a comfortable grip. There's a distinct reflective stripe that runs horizontally across the top of the phone where the camera is located. Color options include midnight blue, mocha bro...- Sleek design

Huawei Mate 10 Pro Smartphone Review
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a strong high-end smartphone, which is even fairly affordable compared to this year's competitors. The great FullView panel and the good display-to-surface ratio are compelling. With LTE Cat. 18 (max.- bright and accurate-color OLED display, LTE Cat

Huawei Mate 10 Pro
Huawei has pinned its hopes on the Mate 10 Pro as its flagship phone for the year. It was designed to be just as good as the Galaxy Note 8 ( $921.08 at Amazon.com ) . And with its huge display, powerful processor and cool camera, it gets pretty close.- The Mate 10 Pro is sleek and solid, very powerful and takes great photos in both colour and black and white
- It's also water-resistant and battery life is superb
- You can't expand the storage and there's no headphone jack
- Its software extras are gimmicky
Huawei Mate 10 Pro review: A beautiful, big-screen bruiser
While it doesn't have all the Galaxy Note 8's features, the Mate 10 Pro earns its place in the high-end big-screen pack. The Huawei Honor 10 is a speedy Android phone with a notch. Check out our review.- The Mate 10 Pro is sleek and solid, very powerful and takes great photos in both colour and black and white
