High Quality Phone - Good Value
"Great value phone, very quick and responsive and feels very high end but not paying a high end price."- Quick
- Good Value
- Face Recognition
- Battery Life
Very stylish & neat
Very good all round phone, light weight, slim and elegant. I am used to a Nokia so some small things I am used to are missing, like tap to wake etc, but am sure I will get used to that. Not used it for long so will see how I fare
Such a bargain
I bought this phone on Amazon FR for 400€ (Dual SIM - 128GB) to replace my trustworthy iPhone 6S Plus that had "served" me for the last 2 and a half years. I wanted to change for a phone with an OLED display and with a better camera than the 6S, specially at night photography.- OLED Display

Huawei Mate 10 Pro review: An amazing smartphone being thrown a lot of curve balls
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is the flagship phone many of you probably never heard of. If you have, it's likely you have only heard of it through mainstream news reports alongside the company's relationship with the U.S. government.- Amazing looking design
- Premium build and quality
- Great display
- Smooth and clean software
- Flagship performer
- Amazing battery life
- Great price
- Fast fingerprint sensor
- The only real complaint is the camera could be better
The Huawei Mate 10 is a the most mainstream smartphone the company has ever produced. It retains its slick looks while switching to the current trend of a glass front and back. It retains its massive battery while adding an even more efficient chipset and AI optimizations.
- Premium metal and glass design Impressive battery life Excellent OLED display Top-shelf specs Android Oreo out of the box Great fast charging tech Outstanding camera performance
- Convoluted UI Under-utilized NPU Not available through carriers
FullView display The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has really large 6" FullView OLED display. The visual spectacle is pretty amazing with an almost bezel-less design that sees a 18:9 aspect ratio showing off more of websites, without scrolling.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro promises a lot and delivers in practically every instance. It's an attractive and very capable performer with some powerful features for productivity and one potent imaging experience on top too.
- Attractive design
- Great battery life
- Fantastic performance
- Competent cameras
- Smart UX
Huawei Mate 10 Pro review: A feature-packed flagship with extra AI
Huawei's flagship Mate 10 Pro is bursting with features. A great screen, very good battery life and widespread use of AI make it a pleasure to use, while IP67 protection is welcome. It's not without drawbacks though.- Large 6-inch OLED screen
- Good battery life
- 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage
- Kirin 970 chip's AI features boost usability
- Android 8
- IP67 dust/water-proofing
- No 3.5mm headset jack (USB-C headset and 3.5mm adapter provided
- No MicroSD card slot
- Too large for some hands/pockets
- Shiny
- slippery chassis design
Huawei Mate 10 Pro
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro was announced at the same time as the Huawei Mate 10. Both of the devices feature dual sensor cameras co-engineered with Leica, but the Pro has a very slightly larger screen (among other differences).
Huawei Mate 10 Pro review: A true flagship to take on the best of them
Talk about arriving just at the right moment. Despite Huawei having its fair share of ups and downs since pushing into the smartphone market - the P10 that didn't quite hit the mark this year , especially on reflection of the better and cheaper Honor 9 - that's not a patch on Google's quality...- Possibly the best-looking flagship phone right now
- plenty of power and smooth operation
- EMUI 8.0 software is about as close to Android Oreo as could be
- decent dual camera arrangement
- long-lasting battery life
- sumptuous 18:9 display
- Poor signal reception
- intelligent Wi-Fi not that intelligent
- odd Android software alerts which vanish
- glass is a fingerprint magnet (and may smash under impact)
- no 3.5mm headphone jack (aagh)
- do we really need that B&W camera
