The Mate 10 Pro is a bit of a dark horse in the smartphone sector, and is one of the better phones that most people won't have easy access to. We say that because Huawei faces an uphill battle in the US market.
- Premium design is as good as any other Android flagship
- Lots of RAM (6GB) and onboard storage (128GB
- Brg and bright display
- Stellar camera performance
- Long battery life
- No expandable storage
- EMUI skin won't appeal to users looking for a purer Android experience
- Auto camera controls could be simplified
- Not offered by any major wireless carriers in the US
Excellent phone ! Battery life is just superb
This is a very high end phone, with all possible feature ....Except Facial recognition .This will be enabled only in the next firmware patch a the end of the year as I have been told by the Huawei excellent support. Also note that the version you get here is the One sim version.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro review: software sadness
The Chinese company had hoped that this would be the year when it would finally be able to break into the US market and compete with Apple and Samsung. But days before it was due to make its big partnership announcement with AT&T, the deal fell apart due to pressure from the US government.- Great materials and build quality
- Fast performance
- Exceptional battery life
- Awful software design
- Frustrating software bugs
- High price
Huawei Mate 10 Pro
Another in the range of reviews of the latest mobile phones courtesy of Vodafone whose network coverage is -in my tests anyway - superior to that offered by other mobile phone companies. Huawei are the new kids on the block making others sit up and work harder to catch up.
Arguably the most rounded phone you can buy now
Battery life and charging speed has no competition. 4000mah battery and 20w supercharging is no joke. Samsung, Google, Oneplus, Xiaomi, and Apple can't even come close to this level of battery endurance. The camera is great, maybe not Pixel perfect, but still very good.
HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro - 128 GB, Grey
- Very long battery life
- nice screen
- very comfortable to use
- powerfull smartphone
- Have none
Huawei Mate 10 Pro Review
For starters, it is very well designed with a lovely glass back and aluminium frame. The curved edges also make the phone lovely to hold, and the Gorilla Glass should resist scratches, too.- Lovely design
- Fantastic display
- Excellent camera setup created in partnership with Leica
- Very fast
- Class-leading battery life
- Fingerprint reader is very quick
- Software has some quirks
- AI is easy to miss
Huawei Mate 10 Pro takes on the big guns
Enjoy unlimited access to Australia's best business news and market insights across desktop, tablet and mobile- Great pics
- Superb two-day battery life
- Speedy
- Great value
- Lacks additional storage
- Has a needless software layer on top of Android
Review: Huawei Mate 10 Pro
A near-faultless Android smartphone, albeit at a higher price-point than we've come used to from Huawei.- Hits the spot in all the right areas: big battery
- great performance
- solid camera and even the fingerprint scanner is fast and effective
- No MicroSD slot and
- for a budget brand
- it's a bit on the pricey side
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro is a phone with which it's hard to find significant faults and easy to discover bits that you like, and you probably couldn't ask for a lot more in a phone than that.
- Outstanding performance
- excellent low-light camera performance
- speedy fingerprint scanner
- beefy battery
- Huawei's EMUI won't appeal to all
- the handset is incredibly slippy
