Huawei Mate 10 review

4.5
Verdict: The Huawei Mate 10 won't even be a consideration for anyone in the UK or the US right now given its limited availability, but if you're reading this in Australia or another region it will be available, and are in the market for a big phone, it should definitely be a contender.
Pros: Premium design, Quality camera, Powerful chipset
Cons: No real waterproofing, EMUI not for everyone, No wireless charging

Huawei Mate 10 64GB

4.5
Verdict: The photos below were captured using the dual camera system of the Mate 10, which comprises a 12MP f/1.6 RGB sensor , a 20MP f/1.6 monochrome sensor, and Leica Summilux-H lenses. They were taken straight from the camera without any post-processing. Pretty impressive, isn't it?
Pros: Bright, large, and vibrant display, Stellar performance, Very impressive Leica dual camera system, Strong battery life
Cons: AI-related features not fully utilized (yet, Glass back prone to scratches and fingerprints

Huawei Mate 10 review: Warning, highly addictive

4.5
Verdict: Huawei introduced three models to its phablet mate series this year. There's the Mate 10, a more than worthy successor to the Mate 9 , and then there's the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Edition. All three offer similar performance, although the Mate 10 has the most traditional design.
Pros: The camera, The battery, Performance, Very thin frame, Can be used like a computer
Cons: Quite wide, Heavy and slippery, Only IP53, Bluetooth 4.2

Verdict: The new features – AI chip and Projection – certainly help make this smartphone standout, more so considering that its camera, battery life, and overall performance are all good.
Pros: Pseudo PC feature, Excellent screen
Cons: Can feel bulky

Huawei Mate 10

4.0
Verdict: The Huawei Mate 10 sits alongside the Mate 10 Pro at the top of Huawei's 2017 phone lineup, offering a big phone with a heap of features. Given the latter's branding, you might assume that the regular Mate 10 – featuring a pretty boring LCD, not OLED, screen, less RAM and half the storage – is the...
Pros: Takes good pictures in low light, Great performance, Very good battery life
Cons: EMUI software is a pain

Huawei Mate 10 review

No reviews
Verdict: The fall may as well be the season of phablets. Apple, LG and Samsung are the usual suspects but Huawei wants in too - as a front-runner, mind you, not an also-ran. Like its illustrious rivals, Huawei is also yielding to the pressure and the new Mate 10 is trying hard to please the fickle crowd.

Huawei Mate 10 64GB

3.8
Verdict: The Huawei Mate 10 is another phone released this year that I feel is close to getting everything right, but ultimately falls short. There are a number of great things about this handset, headlined by a fantastic price point, though with stellar competition, it’s hard to recommend it to everyone.
Pros: Better features than the Mate 10 Pro, like a headphone jack, microSD card slot, and a fantastic high-resolution display. Decent peak performance with excellent battery life. Cheaper than similar-sized competitors
Cons: Software needs an overhaul to compete with Google. Kirin 970 throttles heavily. Slippery design isn’t great on a phone this large

Huawei Mate 10 Review: Hands-On

Huawei Mate 10 64GB

Verdict: The Huawei Mate 10, while impressive, isn't quite as exciting as the sleek Huawei Mate 10 Pro . This isn't exactly a bad thing, of course: both devices are catered to different consumers, and the Mate 10 continues to emphasise on the strengths of Huawei's Mate series.

Huawei Mate 10 64GB

Verdict: So, early impressions are very promising indeed and the price looks tempting, too. With the Mate 10 coming in at €699, it undercuts most of its big-screened competition by a considerable margin. The Pro is a less-tempting €799 at launch.

Huawei Mate 10

4.2
Verdict: It's hard out here for Huawei. The Chinese company is responsible for many great phones, but it's rarely given its due credit. Whether or not the Mate 10 changes this can't be predicted, but Huawei has done its part: The Mate 10 is a standout phone, one that's several hundred dollars cheaper than...
Pros: Huawei's Mate 10 gives you performance and cameras comparable to Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 and Google's Pixel XL 2, but for several hundred bucks less. It also has a headphone jack
Cons: The phone's battery doesn't last as long as the Mate 10 Pro despite being the same size. Huawei's Android software could be smoother and the phone isn't getting an official release in the US or UK

Review: Huawei Mate 10

5.0
Verdict: Huawei has traditionally used its Mate series phones as the flagships of the range, and 2017 is no exception, with not one, but two devices: the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro. The Mate 10 – the subject of this review – continues the design language of last year's P10/P10 Plus, with rounded edges and a...

Huawei Mate 10 Smartphone Review

4.2
Verdict: The Huawei Mate 10 is an outstanding smartphone. The few minor quibbles – the (in our case at least) wobbly volume rocker switch, the lack of an IP 67 certification, the context-based brightness adjustment, the post-processing of the photos – do not really detract from the overall concept.
Pros: outstanding design & feels great to the touch, very good IPS panel, QHD resolution (16:9, doesn't get very hot, great run times, outstanding performance
Cons: high SAR value, camera software is lacking, no wireless charging, Bluetooth 4.2, WLAN could be faster, only IP-53 certified, (availability

Huawei Mate 10 review - Ultimate feature-filled flagship with an AI, 2K display and 3.5mm audio jack

No reviews
Verdict: In many ways, the Huawei Mate 10 is the culmination of all the great technologies before the next step where all smartphones embrace 18:9 aspect ratio displays. The multifunctional front fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm jack with HiFi audio, a wider not so tall yet high resolution 2K display combined with...

Huawei Mate 10 64GB

Verdict: Last year, at the end of fall, the Chinese electronics manufacturer Huawei presented a new flagship among the tablets called Huawei Mate 9. The smartphone received top-end hardware, two cameras on the rear panel, a lot of memory and a powerful battery.

Review: Huawei Mate 10 smart phone

4.5
Verdict: Huawei's Mate 10 phone has a big screen and some advanced features that make it quite the bargain at $899. And it's available from tomorrow – 15 November 2017 – from Vodafone and other places.
Pros: Great value for money, effective docking, Android 8.0, excellent 2x zoom camera
Cons: Not waterproof

Not bad, but far from being the best

5.0
Verdict: In short I expected much more from this phone, but for the price it's the right choice I guess, it has many things right, but also there's some things that are missing, like the stability of video recording in 4k, the smoothness of the UI, the slippery glass back

Nice phone

5.0
Verdict: I bought this to replace my Nexus 6P due to battery issues. The Mate 10 has a similar large screen but is physically smaller due to less bezel-win. The touch screen is responsive and the loading time for apps is fast enough, but perhaps a bit slower than on my Nexus.

Verdict: Just received my phone and so far, I'm really impressed. I had the Axon 7 mini and so this was a big purchase for me but for the few hours I've had it, I'm happy I bought it!

Great phone to have

5.0
Verdict: Great phone to have.... Long battery life. The box also has a clear case and screen protector is already on the phone. Nice finishing. For people with smaller hands, might be better to choose Mate 10 Pro.
