For thirteen years, Guerrilla Games have been tied to the Killzone IP. I'll never hide the fact that I'm not a fan of Killzone. It also left me with a perception of Guerrilla that was all wrong. I'd come to believe they couldn't make anything other than a generic FPS.

Some side characters are just sat in the uncanny valley and could have done with a little extra work

Horizon Zero Dawn takes place on Earth millions of years in the future where, as you guessed it, some or other cataclysmic event has wiped out most of humanity. Out of the ashes, new civilisations and tribes sprung up, each with their own unique culture.

Note: Review was conducted on a PS4 Pro using a 4K TV. The air is thick with anticipation. The hunt is on, and the Thunderjaw is going down. Best to set up some Tripcaster lines and hope they damage this massive beast that is one part machine, one part dinosaur, and all parts terrifying.

Poor in overall sense and great at graphics and plot...the gameplay is good but combat is awful and unfair like witcher and the last of us, you might wanna let the game be mid-way

I know this game is great however with this complete edition, everytime I start it, it just skips the first bit and goes straight to the "six years later" bit. Wish I had just purchased the DLC separately.

The world of Horizon Zero Dawn is one of grass swaying in waves to a gentle breeze. It's one of powerful rain and snow storms, and of proud, beaming sunrises and haunting, ethereal moonlight.

Among an era of online multiplayer games and games with micro-transactions, it is a pleasure to see such a single player game being released. Definitely a must have for PS4
