Horizon Zero Dawn presents an aesthetically pleasing and inventive world with personality aplenty, but it's not without narrative weaknesses
Horizon Zero Dawn is a tremendously fun and epic experience. It's one of those titles that has its failings but the good is so overwhelmingly good I was prepared to let them slide. If you enjoy open world role playing games with dynamic combat I could not recommend this more.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is a stellar open world game. Guerrilla has crafted a magnificent and utterly gorgeous adventure game with surprising depth that rewards player skill and will more than likely prove to be PS4's next major action franchise.
This is a game I would happily have bought on its own so to get it free with the console was great. Fantastic rpg with lots of gameplay and features that keeps you challenged throughout.
Super graphique avec un histoire post-post-apocalyptique vraiment intéressante. Plusieurs styles de jeu possible
I have a confession: when I first saw Horizon Zero Dawn back in 2015 I let out a big ostentatious yawn to signal that I was unimpressed.
Compelling; Sprawling environment; Stunning in 4K; So much to do
Watch out for 'side-quest fatigue
The world of Horizon Zero Dawn is full of promise. From mountainous tribal villages to clusters of long-decayed skyscrapers, through to mechanical caverns measureless to man, the environment of Guerrilla Games' open-world adventure is one that urges exploration.
Horizon Zero Dawn represents a rarity these days. You don't often see big companies like Sony take a risk in developing a big budget console game that isn't a sequel in an existing, successful franchise.
Fun combat; Great story; Fantastic world to explore; Meaningful conversation system; Well-realised NPCs
Lack of a ‘lock-on' system in melee combat is puzzling; Inventory management could be better
received not to be sold separately product
Horizon Zero Dawn looked both awesome and odd from the moment it was announced at E3 2015. Here was a game set in a world where robots had replaced all of the animals while humankind was still living in caves. It looked like Transformers crossed with Clan Of The Cave Bear.
