HTC Vive Pro Review
The HTC Vive Pro is the most technically impressive tethered VR headset we've tested, but it doesn't offer enough over the standard model to justify the steep increase in price. The HTC Vive has been aging gracefully over the last two years, but there's room for improvement in terms of its audio and display capabilities. That's where the Vive Pro comes in. This virtual reality headset has sharper screens, high-quality built-in headphones, dual outward-facing cameras, and a more comfortable and secure design. It's better than the Vive in every way, except for one major flaw: Its $799 price tag doesn't include the base stations and motion controllers it requires to function. A bundle is available for an additional $300, but that means you're spending more than $1,000 before even considering your PC, which better be pretty powerful if you want to use the Vive Pro. HTC Vive Pro review
While resolution will surely win the lion's share of the recognition, HTC has made a number of fantastic design choices on the Vive Pro that rival the resolution in terms of importance.

HTC Vive Pro review
The HTC Vive Pro is the VR headset successor to the first Vive . The Oculus Rift rival launched almost two years ago and since then the focus has been on making minor upgrades to enhance that VR experience.
Pros:
- Slightly easier to setup
- Great addition of integrated headphones
- Improved resolution
Cons:
- Doesn't include controllers/wireless adaptor
- Also lacks new base stations
- Still mighty expensive

HTC Vive Pro review
One thing is clear with the Vive Pro: it’s not a sequel. HTC is marketing this as a high-end alternative for its die-hard fanbase, while slashing the price of the original headset for VR newbies to a more affordable £499. Focusing solely on the hardcore audience then, it’s mission accomplished for the Pro. With the right games virtual worlds look fantastic thanks to the resolution boost, while the improved design and built-in headphones fix a lot of the vanilla Vive’s flaws. It’s expensive (especially if you intend on getting the wireless adapter) and the number of games that get the best out of the Pro is somewhat lacking, but in terms of hardware, the Vive Pro is undoubtedly the best VR headset that you can buy.

- An incredibly more comfy and adjustable fit compared to the standard Vive
- Built-in headphones are much more convenient

- Limited graphically-challenging game library
