HTC EVO 4G LTE for Sprint review - awesome, but where's the LTE?

The HTC EVO 4G LTE is the successor to the very popular EVO 4G and slightly-less popular EVO 3D for Sprint. Based on the excellent HTC One X , the EVO 4G LTE pairs impressive performance with an industrial design that could only be for a phone with the EVO nameplate.
Pros:
  • Fantastic screen
  • speedy performance
  • solid build quality
Cons:
  • Slow data until LTE arrives
  • camera performance is weak indoors
  • may be too large for some hands

HTC Evo 4G LTE review

The Evo 4G LTE's appeal is a question of priorities. If you're committed to Sprint and have no plans on leaving, you should absolutely buy the Evo. It's well-designed, insanely fast, and ready for Sprint's HD Voice and LTE-filled future.
Pros:
  • Fantastic build quality
  • Gorgeous display
  • Really fast
  • smooth performance
Cons:
  • Sprint's LTE network isn't ready yet
  • Mediocre battery life
  • Sense is still too intrusive

One X is a big phone with 32 GB memory, quad core processor, 8.0-megapixel back camera, and 1 GB RAM and yet it is surprisingly light. This can be because of the fact that HTC has given a polycarbonate body to the device, instead of taking the metallic path.

Everything looks beautiful, a photo of a pale cloudy day looks as good as a sunset snapshot.
Pros:
  • The One X is all sorts of fast
  • It’s actually dizzying â€" the phone loads apps pretty much before you’ve lifted your finger from the screen and it never hung or crashed.
Cons:
  • No microSD slot

HTC One X Android phone

The HTC One X features a superb design, a fantastic display and offers excellent performance along with some very well designed software. Poor battery life and some annoying inconsistencies in software are downsides to an otherwise excellent Android phone. HTC's new flagship One X is a beautifully designed smartphone with a great screen and slick software. A very good camera adds to a well rounded package, though poor battery life and inconsistent HTC Sense software are downsides to an otherwise excellent Android device.
Pros:
  • Elegant design and superb screen
  • Excellent performance
  • Some great camera features
Cons:
  • Poor battery life
  • Inconsistent Sense UI
