HTC Evo 3D
Before we begin, a small disclaimer. The CNET Australia team is as cynical about 3D on portable devices as you are, but 3D isn't all there is to like about this handset. In some ways, the shape and feel of the Evo 3D is an about-turn for HTC, whose handset design has been leaning towards a more...
Pros:
- Solid smartphone experience
- 3D is great when it works
- 1730mAh battery is sufficient
Cons:
- No HDMI port
- Struggles with 1080p videos
- Limited multimedia file recognition

We are very sceptical when it comes to 3D smartphones, but manufacturers are keen to get them on the shelves. LG was the first to market with its and HTC has now followed suit with the - available through Telstra and Vodafone in Australia.
Pros:
- 3D experience is impressive
- Excellent build quality
- Slick UI and performance
Cons:
- Chunky and heavy design
- Battery life is below average
- Limited 3D content available

HTC Evo 3D

HTC EVO 3D
The EVO 3D has made a stake that 3D can be something other than a novelty item. The Qualcomm dual-core processor and the 1GB of RAM make the device run extremely smooth, even with the burden of HTC...
Pros:
- Super LCD Display
- 3D is Awesome Feature
- HTC Sense 3.0
- Removable Bloatware
Cons:
- Bulky
- On the Heavier Side
- Speaker is Too Quiet

HTC EVO 3D Android phone
The HTC EVO 3D offers genuinely impressive 3D viewing without the need for special glasses. However, the lack of 3D content available makes it little more than a gimmick that you'll quickly tire of. Further, the EVO 3D is chunky and heavy: we find it difficult to recommend over slimmer, lighter competitors. We are very sceptical when it comes to 3D smartphones, but manufacturers are keen to get them on the shelves. LG was the first to market with its Optimus 3D and HTC has now followed suit with the EVO 3D — available through Telstra and Vodafone in Australia. The HTC EVO 3D isn't a bad smartphone by any means, but the extra bulk it carries to support the 3D camera function just isn't worth the outlay.
Pros:
- 3D experience is impressive
- Excellent build quality
- Slick UI and performance
Cons:
- Chunky and heavy design
- Battery life is below average
- Limited 3D content available

HTC Evo 3D
The EVO 3D is the best option for people with a desire to experience 3D and dual core on their smartphones, easily outperforming other phones already available with these features.

HTC EVO 3D Review
Unveiled at CTIA 2011, the HTC EVO 3D, as the name suggests, is HTC's venture into smartphones with 3D displays. Not requiring any kind of eyewear, the HTC EVO 3D captures 3D on its 4.3 inch screen fairly well, though it does have a limited viewing...

HTC EVO 3D Review
Truthfully, I think that the EVO 3D is the best phone HTC has made. The hardware has been beautifully built , the screen is gorgeous to look at and the Sense 3.0 skin is the best Android skin I've have used – although it is a bit intense. Plus you have the added bonus of 3D as a cherry on top.
