HTC Evo 3D
The second 3D-ready smartphone to be released in Australia comes from HTC, and on first looks it betters LG's debut model by providing a high-resolution glasses-less 3D screen, solid build, and 3D camera with flash.
Pros:
- Excellent glasses-less high-resolution screen
- 3D camera can take shots at night
- Latest version of Android
Cons:
- Very little supplied 3D content, No guide mode for first-time 3D users..
- which will probably be everybody, Regular 2D video capture only available in 720p HD

HTC EVO 3D Review
The HTC Evo 3D was launched in the U.S. via Sprint for $199.99. Later the phone was offered via different retailers, too. So at the end of summer, RadioShack exclusively offered the white version of the Evo 3D at the same price tag Sprint required for the device.

Review: HTC Evo 3D
The back panel is made of matte plastic with a dotted texture pattern that provides superior grip. Two 5 MP cameras on the rear give it a futuristic look. Another thing worth mentioning here is the addition of a camera shutter key.
Pros:
- Beautiful UI
- Effortless multitasking
- Dual-core CPU
- Glassless 3D
- Great build quality
Cons:
- No 1080p video recording
- Lacklustre video player
- 3D mode can be uncomfortable

HTC EVO 3D Review by Aaron
The dual-core processor, 3D capabilities, high-resolution display, and inclusion of Android 2.3 makes the EVO 3D a nice evolutionary upgrade to the original device. HTC also takes the EVO line to new heights with Sense 3.0, which enhances the Android experience by offering additional...
Pros:
- In addition to the 3D capabilities
- the EVO 3D packs some welcome upgrades like a dual-core processor
- newer software
- and an improved display
Cons:
- Reception isn't the best
- data speeds have been disappointing
- battery life is mediocre

The HTC Evo 3D touch screen phone has an up-to-date dual-core processor and runs the Android 2.3 operating system, which will help you move quickly through your tasks. It also connects to the 4G network. You'll speed through more data, but you'll also speed through your battery faster.
Pros:
- Take pictures in 3D with this dual-lens
- back-facing camera
- or change to 2D mode with the switch on the side of the phone
Cons:
- Although this phone has plenty of hours of talk time
- it doesn't offer as many as the other touch phones we reviewed

A 3D phone?!? Yes Please!
I've been using the Android OS for about a year now and really like the OS, but hated the phones I'd
Pros:
- Beautiful screen
- incredibly fast processor
- ample on-board storage
Cons:
- Camera pod prone to scratches
- could use extra homescreen space

HTC EVO 3D review
The EVO 3D is a well made handset that improves upon the EVO 4G in terms of raw horsepower -- as such, it lives up to its flagship status. That being said, it's also a step back in some areas (the lack of kickstand comes to mind).
Pros:
- Snappy dual-core performance
- Eye-friendly qHD resolution
- Fantastic camera button
Cons:
- Poor battery life
- Too many camera compromises
- Display could be higher quality

The phone is fast and responsive when handling any task, but also comes with a size penalty. It measures 65mm wide by 126mm long by 12.05mm thick and weighs a hefty 170g. Ultimately, unless you're going to be using the 3D regularly then you'll find a number of other phones that are equally powerful,...

HTC Evo 3D review: HTC Evo 3D
Whether you like the 3D feature or choose to never use it, the Evo 3D is a powerful, capable Android and our favourite HTC smartphone of the year, so far. Before we begin, a small disclaimer. The CNET Australia team is as cynical about 3D on portable devices as you are, but 3D isn't all there is to like about this handset.
Pros:
- Solid smartphone experience
- 3D is great when it works
- 1730mAh battery is sufficient.
Cons:
- No HDMI port
- Struggles with 1080p videos
- Limited multimedia file recognition.
