Review: HTC EVO 3D
There's no question the EVO 3D is a lightning-fast workhorse. The latest entry into HTC's flagship line of Android phones has a dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon chip, and the rest of the specs are equally as impressive on paper as they are in practice. It makes crystal-clear phone calls, too.
Pros:
- The 3-D filming feature is fun, plain and simple, regardless of its limitations
- Cloud-based music and video streams without major hiccups
- Screen resolution is amazing
- Call quality is a double thumbs up
Cons:
- Battery life is less than optimal
- Bootloader should be unlocked
- The included 8GB microSD card is not enough storage, especially for a phone capable of 3-D captures
- Device doesn't come with ear buds
- I want my kickstand
- Google Voice notifications repeatedly failed in my tests

HTC EVO 3D
The HTC EVO 3D is a worthy successor to the extremely popular HTC EVO 4G. Even if you don't care about 3D, it's a got a top of the line dual core CPU, a qHD resolution 4.3" display, a very good camera for 2D photos and video as well as 3D recording and slightly improved battery life over the EVO 4G.
Pros:
- Dual core CPU
- large qHD display
- 4G
- great design and build
Cons:
- Battery life so-so with 4G turned on
- 3D hurt our brains after extended viewing

Overall, the HTC Evo 3D is a bit of a disappointment. It's a perfectly good smartphone – it's seriously fast, packed with features and have a great screen, but we can't help but feel that the 3D tech is still nothing more than a gimmick.
Pros:
- The HTC Evo 3D is one of the largest smartphones currently on sale, with a huge 4.3-inch screen
- With a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, it's pin sharp and looks glorious
- When it comes to watching movies or checking out web pages, few of the Evo 3D's rivals are better, It's not just a great screen...
Cons:
- The HTC Evo 3D's touchscreen display is both a major selling point, and one of its biggest problems
- Although it's great for use, and looks fantastic, it also makes the Evo 3D one seriously large smartphone, and it's simply the wrong side of comfortable for most occasions.

HTC Evo 3D
It was only a matter of time until 3D found its way onto phones. And with the arrival of the LG Optimus 3D and the HTC Evo 3D, that time has come. Both pack dual cameras and the lenticular displays required to record 3D and play it back without glasses so on the move 3D fun is a true option.
Pros:
- 3D can be impressive
- Large
- high resolution screen
- Very fast
- HTC interface can be superb
Cons:
- 3D can be horrible
- Large and bulky handset
- HTC interface can be frustrating

HTC Evo 3D review
A capable smartphone with some fun 3D capabilities, but there are better handsets available if you're not interested in 3D

HTC Evo 3D
The EVO 3D is the best option for people with a desire to experience 3D and dual core on their smartphones, easily outperforming other phones already available with these features.
