For one reason or another, the One series failed to live up to their potential in terms of actual sales, so HTC turned back to the time-tested Desire line to fill up the coffers and secure some time to regroup.

This is my first smartphone and after a week of getting familiar and adding apps I am really enjoying it. While it is a budget entry level Android it is meeting all my needs and more.

HTC's Desire X has crashed into the mid-range smartphone market, offering some commendable specs (dual-core processor, feature-packed 5MP camera, Beats audio) and the usual joyous HTC experience for an impressively low price.

Forgot to mention in earlier post; I am really impressed with the clarity of phone conversations on this phone too. Somebody mentioned that a Nexus 4 would be a better choice for the money.
