HTC's argument that the Desire X is more affordable than the One series is a little bit odd, given that this is a vastly more powerful phone than the HTC One V. But your hands probably don't care about technicalities, or the difference between different flavoured Android desserts: they'll love the...

While the absurd Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note sales numbers have shown there's a big market for even bigger phones, they're not for everyone; The HTC Desire X is a much more manageable size, with a screen you can actually cover every corner of with one hand.

While the HTC Desire X is more than fast enough for all but the most hardcore users and 3D gamers - more so in fact than the HTC One V; which is odd since that's meant to be a classier phone - its specs aren't cutting edge.

Great phone at a great price.

Very good phone for those who arent into gaming etc. Enough memory and processing power, right size, looks and feel. This phone ticks all boxes. Only disappointment is there is no compass in it..

Mobile giant HTC is incessantly getting higher and bigger with its excellent class of Smartphone that works amazingly well without breaking the sweat. The company has added yet another new sibling in its family, HTC Desire X which promises to deliver the best with its top notch components.

review On paper HTC's new budget model looks like a winner, coming close to many of the specifications of its more expensive brethren but with a price point beneath $300. But does the lower-end Desire X do enough to keep HTC's reputation for solid smartphone build quality and performance intact?

Excellent phone

HTC Desire X is a mid priced phone, considering the price, I think, that it gives you a lot more than other phones in that price range. Put it this way, everything works just perfect and smooth. My only problem with this phone is that it is really quiet when ringing.

My 1st Smart Phone

This is my third cell phone. My first being a small flip and the second which I had for 3 years was the Nokia C3. I have been a customer of no contract CC for all my cell phone service and was glad to find a phone better than what they offered at a great price.

Size; weight; easy to read; fast

battery life is short (1 day

HTC Desire X Review: A mid range crowd pleaser

The Desire X is HTC's mid range device aimed at the "average user" who is intrigued by the idea of an Android powered smartphone yet still enjoys the simpler things in life. The Desire X ticks all the necessary boxes with a discreet design, easy to understand interface and surprisingly...

HTC Desire X Review: In Depth

The HTC Desire X is arguably the first true successor to the original HTC Desire. Bearing the same name, it improves upon the Desire and Desire S in every way, bringing the line up to speed two years on.

Great build; Fantastic camera; Quick to use with good battery

No front-facing camera; Limited RAM
