HTC Desire X Review

My introduction to the Android platform came through the original HTC Desire.  One of my bosses walked up to me knowing my love for phones and showed me his brand spanking new piece of kit, complete with scrolling widgets and […]

HTC Desire X review

The HTC Desire X falls into a space between the HTC One V and the HTC One S, but is more restrained in its design. There are some points where the Desire X has been squeezed on the spec sheet: the lack of front facing camera and limited HD support being notable.
Pros:
  • Compact
  • affordable
  • respectable screen size
  • microSD card slot
Cons:
  • There's nothing to get really excited about

HTC Desire X review Review

The Desire X can't compete with top-of-the-range Android powerhouses such as the One X or the Galaxy S3. But it does have an attractive design, a decent processor and, more importantly, an affordable price -- and free Beats headphones.
Pros:
  • Good performance from the dual-core chip
  • Clear
  • colourful 4-inch screen
  • MicroSD card slot
  • Reasonably priced
Cons:
  • Plasticky build quality

A Very Good Phone For Its Price

this may not be an ideal review to look at before you buy as I have been only using it for a 2 weeks nonetheless this phones a beauty. I was in great doubt before buying this phone but now i realise there was no need for that.

HTC Desire X review: HTC Desire X

The HTC Desire X is a decent mid-range 'droid for people who want a capable phone that doesn't cost the Earth. With a bright 4-inch screen, Android Ice Cream Sandwich and a dual-core 1GHz chip, it's a wise choice for budget-conscious Android lovers. If you own an HTC Desire or Wildfire -- much loved but realistically getting towards the end of its life -- HTC has lined up a fairly affordable mid-range replacement for your beloved 'droid. And it's got slightly more oomph to boot.
Pros:
  • Good performance from the dual-core chip
  • Clear, colourful 4-inch screen
  • MicroSD card slot
  • reasonably priced.
Cons:
  • Plasticky build quality.

1. Irrestibly desirable Smartphone

Thrilled to finally have an HTC Desire –X. All this while I have been waiting to get a fully loaded Smartphone that would fit in my budget. Now I can watch videos & hear my favorite music on the go, capture good moments of my life and stay connected with my friends all at the same time.

HTC Desire X review

The Desire X is a solid mid-range smartphone – it's not particularly spectacular in any area (except perhaps battery life), but it's not downright bad either. When it comes to buying time, we suspect that the ultimate decider will be the price.

HTC Desire X review

When HTC came up with its original Desire in 2010 it had a smartphone watershed moment. The handset was quite lovely. I carried on using mine well past its sell-by date simply because it was nicely designed and its optical trackpad was so clever. I know people who still use the phone.
Pros:
  • Good screen
  • Comfy size for the hand
  • Some nice camera features
Cons:
  • Flimsy backplate
  • Nothing special to look at
  • No real USP
