If your good with moding a phone then youl be fine
i love this phone to death. but not until after i unlocked the bootloader, rooted the phone, and installed a custom 4.2 jelly bean rom. what that all means is i had to un do everything HTC did to the phone. the hardware of this phone is insane. BUTTTT the software is terrible!

The HTC Butterfly has a fantastic display but is let down by poor battery life
The HTC J Butterfly was exclusively released in Japan in December last year but HTC has now unveiled an international variant of the device that works on Australian 3G networks, simply called the Butterfly.

- Occasional performance hiccups

At the end of the day, the DROID DNA is a fantastic smartphone. It's leading the pack in the 5-inch 1080p sector and sets the bar quite high. It performs virtually without a hitch, the display and design are fantastic and the build quality is well above par for the course.
Pros:
- The display is arguably the best on the market

- the 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro and 2GB RAM keeps things moving smoothly

HTC Droid DNA
After two weeks using the HTC Droid DNA, I can safely say it's one of my top smartphone picks for 2012 and early 2013. This is not only a fast phone with the latest quad core Qualcomm S4 CPU, but it has a class-leading 1080p display that's a feast for the eyes.

HTC Droid DNA (Verizon Wireless)
The HTC Droid DNA ($199.99) is not a phone , not yet a phablet. But while it occupies a gray area somewhere in between, one thing is certain: This thing is totally awesome. The DNA's 5-inch, 1080p display is the sharpest on any mobile device available.
