Butterfly has good build quality and gives a feeling of a premium device, which it is. The phone weighs 140 grams. HTC had sometime back launched its first 5 inch device, called HTC Butterfly, for around Rs 45,000. Here is my take on the smartphone.
Pros:
  • Stylish design
  • Covered ports
  • Call quality
  • Audio quality (through 3.5 mm audio jack
  • Display
Cons:
  • SIM tray
  • Battery
  • Low light camera performance

I've always had a soft spot for HTC ever since I laid my eyes on the HTC Dream / T-Mobile G1 way back in the day. They sparked my love for Android and for phone hardware. That was a few years ago now, but even today, their hardware design still excites me, however, their software usually leaves...
Pros:
  • The best looking 5-inch 1920×1080 Super LCD3 Display
  • Amazing looking hardware design - feels great in the hand
  • 8MP Camera / 1080p video recording
  • Super snappy CPU
Cons:
  • Sense is too bloated for some
  • I don't mind it too much
  • You're going to be constantly fighting to conserve battery
  • Loudspeaker is nothing to write home about - Beats is a joke
  • to be honest
  • Power button placing is stupid
  • not in a natural area where fingers reach

Review: HTC Droid DNA

When you're contemplating the vast expanse of glass covering any one of the current models of smartphones with supersized screens, you have to ask yourself: How big is too big? Is a 5-inch display that much better than a 4.5-incher? Does native 1080p capability actually matter on a smartphone?
Pros:
  • The 1920 × 1080 display is the best on any phone, both on paper and in real life
  • Mostly flawless performance from the quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and Verizon's 4G LTE network
  • Looks kinda badass.
Cons:
  • Crappy battery life
  • Display isn't significantly better than the screens found on top rivals
  • At 5 inches, the screen is too big - a pain to use with one hand.

HTC Butterfly Android phone

The HTC Butterfly's 5in, full HD screen is a marvel and its thin design quickly becomes appreciated. However, poor battery life, some odd ergonomics and HTC's tired Sense UI are all letdowns. Add a lack of 4G to that and we'd advise you give this one a miss. New Droid. HTC offers a new mainstream smartphone with a bright Full HD display and a Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC. The technology of the Super LCD 3 display was already convincing in the review of the larger sibling HTC One, but we also have a closer look at the other components...
Pros:
  • Great display
  • High color accuracy
  • Full HD
  • Good build quality
  • Application performance
  • The vibrant display and the good build quality look as if they were made out of one piece.
Cons:
  • Mediocre camera
  • Limited storage without expandability
  • Average battery runtimes
  • Non-removable battery
  • High price
  • The internal storage is not very generous with 16 GB.
