Fine Lines
Get it straight people. HP's new x2301 monitor isn't thin, it's Micro Thin . What exactly does Micro Thin mean? Well, we'll skip today's lesson on redundancy, and just presume it's a new adjective for describing things measuring 9.8mm (0.39 thick) or less - because that's how thin the x2301 is.

The HP x2301 may have a few minor display niggles - the viewing angles and somewhat reflective screen, for example - but with it you get a slim, space-saving monitor that looks fantastic and stylish, and not to mention being able to provide some crisp, bright and beautiful display quality.
Pros:
- Bright
- crisp display
- Gorgeous slim design
- Accessible menu and connectivity
Cons:
- Screen rather reflective
- View angle rather narrow

I feel like I am in the future
Arrived in about 2 days after ordering. Good service on delivery. In my opinion the picture doesn't look quite as good as my 3 year old Dell monitor although it still has a great crisp and clear picture. I think it is the color difference that makes me take pause.

awesome bang for the buck monitor (if you can get it for a steal like i did)
great monitor, base takes up a considerable amount of space if you have a small desk + the added length from cables coming out the back, I wish the bottom of the base was vesa mountable and the monitor could tilt 90 degrees, that would look awesome and be way more convenient but it's a great monitor...

HP x2301
With the HP x2301 ($249.99 direct) you don't get much in the way of extra features, but this 23-inch TN monitor will add a touch of style to your workspace without taking up much room.
Pros:
- Stylish design
- Thin, space-saving profile
- Good color, motion, and small text quality
Cons:
- Narrow viewing angles
- Tilt-only stand
- So-so grayscale performance

x2301: Glossy display boasts unusual design
The glossy-screened HP x2301 , with its dark gray bezel, aluminum trim, and green-tinted translucent base, is certainly out to make an impression. Unfortunately, this 23-inch monitor's performance isn't nearly as impressive as its design.
Pros:
- Striking design
Cons:
- Mediocre screen performance

nice monitor, could be better
Awkward to set up, set up on recommended setting and found boarder all round edge, had to select lower resolution to get full picture, but this is the obviously not full HD quality. That said, it is a really nice monitor and I have accepted how it is and am very happy. just could be a bit better.
Pros:
- Presentation excellent
- Size good
Cons:
- Awkward To Set Up

HP x2301 Micro Thin LED monitor
The HP x2301's low price, good performance, and sound design make it a new high-water mark for budget monitors.
Pros:
- The HP x2301 features a thin panel
- a well-designed OSD array and menu
- and easy-to-access connection options
- all at a great low price
Cons:
- The monitor's green push can be minimized but not eliminated
