Easy to set up; Worked right out of the box; HP software very useful for printing and scanning over my network; Superb photo printing directly from my iPhone
Multi-page scanner works only from the network, not locally; Ink is expensive
love the wireless ability and quality, works well thru my computer
I've had this printer for about a month now. I use it once in a blue moon and it hasn't disappointed for what I've needed it to do. Very easy to print documents from my iPhone, iPad, and computer (which makes my life easier). Have not printed photos yet.
Very easy to set up and is now linked to all our devices from my Canon SLR to my girls mobile. Printer has an email address so I can print stuff out even if I'm not at home.
I have always had HP printers and have never had problems with them, until this one. It was very easy to set up, it even printed the test pages fine, but the next time I tried to print the paper jammed every time no matter what kind of paper I used.
HP's premium Envy model has all the features you might need in your home office and specialises in printing finely detailed photos.
An Instant Ink sub keeps you printing; Helpful touchscreen interface; Print from and to email; Front SD card and USB flash ports
Bulbous design takes up too much room; Coloured inks are combined in one cartridge; Replacement ink is expensive; Reliability issues
Needed a printer to print and scan documents for work as well as print photo images and I can't fault it for the price it was. Always use HP print cartridges as the refills are not the same quality for photos etc. I'm a total novice when it comes to setting up printers with computers and WiFi.
Photo printers are nothing new and they've certainly come a long way since their introduction. Our HP ENVY Photo 7855 review takes a look at one of HP's latest all-in-one photo printers. Read on to see what we thought of its performance and quality.
Decent print; copy; and scan speeds; 1200dpi scan resolution; Excellent photo quality prints; Power-saving options; Wireless printing; USB and SD card printing; Instant Ink Program saves money on ink cartridges; Fairly easy and straightforward setup
Two cartridge ink system; Slow photo printing; Limited editing functions in HP Smart app; Initial setup rejected the new starter cartridges (not an isolated incident; High ink cost if you opt out of Instant Ink Program
Had this printer about a month. Prints great quality photos.
