Great laptop
Pros:
- Great laptop for the value
- Boots fast with ssd drive
- No major issues
Cons:
- No dvd drive
- but most dont come with them anymore

Cons:
- viewing angle dependent screen
- low-contrast screen
- no maintenance hatch

Exactly What I Hoped For
I had two dealbreakers in mind when choosing a new laptop: I needed a numeric keypad and at least a 512G SSD. This laptop has both and I'm very pleased with it. It runs cool ans silent, and super-fast. Also, the soft finish on the keys is very nice.

Very capable convenient laptop. Much more suitable than my last (gaming oriented) laptop

Good to a point
I had a few too many problems with this laptop and am now returning it. Wireless connection kept disconnecting and reconnecting randomly while I was sitting in one place. Also, the mouse occasionally froze. The HP software revealed a load of updates including drivers and bios.
