This is the third time and probably the last time, I will purchase Shalimar. When I first started using Shalimar parfum, it was heavier and almost an oil. It now appears to be watered down and the fragrance isn't the same. It is more like the spray cologne from the bottle.

I'd like to smell this on my wrists/etc., even hours later, the way it used to...fades quickly now, so I tend to use more...Guess that's good for your business

Looking for something a little heavier than a one-note floral, I found the description of a floral medley with vanilla and musk interesting. Shalimar is lovely, fine for parties and other outings--or romantic evenings, but if you're heading to the mall, PTA, or carwash, stick to something lighter.

Shalimar by Guerlain has been available since the 1920s so it's not surprising they call it their timeless perfume, sometimes they have a new bottle designed and repackage the perfume. The 2013/2014 bottle was designed by Jade Jagger.

After about 3 months since my wife started using this product, she developed an allergic reaction to it (skin rash). It was quite surprising considering she had never developed an allergic to anything before, she also used Shalimar before, but purchased from a high street retailer.

The initial sensation is of cool citrus burst that quickly melds into a rich floral heart. The undercurrent of dark sensual pervades even the initial chilly note, setting the stage for the warmth of the base.

Wife loves this and so do I. I have a wife that just will not wear jewelry but she loves fragrances so I indulge in nice ones for her. This quickly joined her her favorites on the shelf with Burberry and Flower Bomb.

Nothing cheers me up more than Shalimar, it is luxurious and decadent and my absolute most favourite scent ever. I wish the bottle was still the vintage (or extrait) version. I love Shalimar. It is the only cologne I use. The fragrance is not overwhelming and very pleasant even to those who are around me.Everyone always asks "what is that fragrance you have on".
